Fiat: history of colossal cars

Born in 1899, Fiat stands for Fabbroca Automobili Torino Italy, and founded by Giovanni Agnelli with the support of several other members, is the home produttirce car's major Itlia.

The idea of Agnelli, to build a car factory, was accompanied to that of other aristocrats, among which stands out the name of Caesar Goria Gatti, who became the founder dell'ACI, which he thought to produce cars on an industrial scale.

Cesare Gatti in fact, had cooperated in the construction of "Welleyes", built by the "Accomandita Ceirano & C.", which received considerable success.

The first car to be costruitta by the Fiat Group was the "3 ½ HP", a copy of "Welleyes" and produced in 8 copies during 1899.

In the first decade of 1900, construction is FIAT spostanoo on commercial vehicles, trucks and on trams: Fiat is famous 1 Fiacre, destined to be taxi even in cities like Paris, New York and London.

Also in that decade is for FIAT, the start of automobile participations in competitions, and in 1911, the company creates a car to beat the world record speed: Fiat 300 hp Record.

The company intato grows: the first of 1910 counts in fact, already 2500 workers.

After numerous difficulties between the partners, ownership of car manufacturer Fiat, Agnelli is taken from that, became Senator during fascism, is in danger of losing the property, decides to move the chair in Valletta, being his only son Edward, who died in a plane crash. Valletta led the company until 1966, when Gianni Agnelli, the son of Edward, took the chair.

Among the most famous models in the history of Fiat Group are mentioned: Fiat Balilla 508, Fiat 500, Fiat 1400 (with motorizzazzione Diesel), the Fiat 850, Fiat 126 and Fiat 127, until the latest Fiat Uno, Fiat Regatta, the review of Fiat 500 which becomes Fiat Cinquecento of 90 years, the Fiat Seicento, and the car born with the cooperation of companies in the Fiat Group as Fiat Tempra, Alfa Romeo and Lancia Dedra 155.

Ferrari
